Or Dr. Layne Norton who has a PhD in Nutritional Sciences, owns his own successful business and also holds the USAPL national record for deadlifting 771 lbs at 93 KG.

And there are so many more that I couldn’t name them all.

How?

By listening to one of the many podcasts that are out there (especially great when you need to get some cardio in).

Effectively, podcasts at the gym let you train both mind and body.

But with so many to choose from, which one should you listen to?

Now it really depends on your taste and what you’re looking for…

In particular, I’ve put together 3 podcasts I tune into when I’m doing some light sets or cardio at the gym.

These podcasts are masterfully mixed with education and entertainment — and I always find myself learning new things!

So without further ado, here they are:

1. The Tim Ferriss Podcast

It’s difficult to classify what Tim Ferriss’ podcast really covers…

 

But in his words:

 

He deconstructs world-class performers to discover the habits, routines and secrets of successful people in all fields, that you can apply in your own life.

 

He’s had everyone from legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger to Billionaire investor Marc Andreessen, Terry Crews, Sir Richard Branson and more, feature on his podcast.

 

The interviews conducted on this podcast are filled with valuable tips and are extremely entertaining to boot.

2. The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast

The Joe Rogan podcast is similar to the Tim Ferriss one in that he interviews actors, musicians, MMA fighters, athletes etc.

 

The twist is that Joe has a different way of interviewing and therefore has a different “vibe” to his podcasts.

3. Freakonomics Podcast

 

The final podcast I want to recommend is the Freakonomics Podcast. They cover a wide range of topics from “the economics of sleep, to how to become great at just about anything.”

 

There’s a range of super accomplished guests from Nobel laureates, successful entrepreneurs and other intellectuals.
